Gorgeous hotel, rooms are nice and big, beds are comfortable and massive. Food is lovely. Spa is nice, small so gets busy quickly and if your wanting treatments book well in advance. Staff are lovely and soo friendly they will above and beyond for you.

Spa afternoon with friends. The rooms are tired and the drive, whilst in stunning surroundings, needs the potholes filling in. However, the staff were exceptional. The spa treatments were on par with the 'high end' spas in the North East in terms of their expertise. Hats off to you ladies, you were amazing. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Original part of the hotel is very quaint ( hunting lodge) with lovely views & several comfortable side rooms to relax away from the bar. The rooms are standard for a hotel of this rating. Any visits to nearby towns involved a 20 min drive on some very narrow roads which requires full attention during the dark. Corbridge is well worth a visit, with some quality restaurants & bars.

My partner and I love coming to Slaley. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the soap and shampoo smells wonderful and is great quality. There also are great views in most of the rooms and the restaurants and meeting rooms are all beautiful. We also love the grounds around the hotel, my partner golfs and loves the golf course, I love the walking trails that are nearby. It’s a beautiful area. Overall the hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pool is great, and the spa is also great. However, please get a new head chef in the restaurant as well a better kitchen manager. The food is always just subpar, and there’s often a really long wait time for food to arrive with food often arriving cold. The price that you pay for the food does not match the quality. For such a lovely place it’s a shame that the restaurant quality is so bad, breakfast however in the morning is very good.

Spa was more like a leisure centre. Kids everywhere , splashing and screaming. Not at all relaxing or peaceful. Not really sure how can be described as a spa, really just a hotel pool with sauna and steam room, nothing special. All loungers and chairs were either occupied or had towels on so no where to sit, even in the cafe area. Only room for 6 small people in the jacuzzi, the same group of ladies were in there for the few hours we were there. Not once did they get asked to give other guests a turn, despite the sign limiting guests to 10 minutes. We had to get up at the crack of dawn to have a bit of tranquility in the hot tub before kids descended again at 8am. Food very nice. Waitresses pleasant and helpful. Breakfast one of the best. Unfortunately wouldn't recommend and won't be back. Very disappointing 😞
