We had a wonderful afternoon tea. The food was really delicious and the views amazing from the historic Abbey windows. The service was friendly, professional and informative about the Abbeys history too. We look forward to our next visit. Afterwards we went on a lovely short trail walk around the beautiful grounds. Lots of snowdrops to see too. Thank you

I attended a weekend workshop there recently, but all the accommodation was fully booked so I stayed in an Airbnb nearby. For dining the food was very good and well prepared. Reception and waiting services were also good. As I left on the last day I passed by open bedrooms being cleaned for the next guests, so I could see that the rooms looked comfortable and well equipped.

Not as good as expected. Tummy room- clearly used to be a single and has had a double bed squeezed in without moving the head board/ bedside table! A tight squeeze, no room for anyone with weight issues, you won't get round the bed! Breakfast disappointing- more choices listed than actually available and when we asked for more bread to make toast, or maybe a croissant, the fact that we arrived 15 minutes before breakfast ends was used as an excuse for everything having run out, including the juice and milk! Shame, because it's beautiful. Quite a route march from the car park to the annexe, and through mud at one point. Not suitable for anyone with reduced mobility! No smooth surface pedestrian path past the car barrier. A little more thought would make a big difference. Beautiful grounds, worth a wander

Very nice grounds, greeted by a very helpful front of desk. Rooms very small and bed was poor quality. Barman needs a bit of customer service training. Really nice buffet breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately because of the quality of sleep we would not return which is a shame as we liked the grounds and surrounding areas.
