Tring Champneys Health Spa, Stanley Lief

I will remember this stay for the rest of my life with fondness and great memories. The stay was for my girlfriend and me for our 6 year anniversary. After booking I found out she was pregnant and decided it would be a great time to propose to her. After calling customer service was given the name of a customer relations manager for the hotel. I will not say her name for privacy reasons, but she is the most pleasant and helpful human being. Her team helped me with a private function room that was decorated romantically and beautifully. It is a memory we will remember forever and our so grateful to Champneys for our stay. The facilities are beautiful and everything about this place is so perfect. If anybody is in need of relaxation then I would one hundred percent recommend. Thanks again a thousand times, you are all the best people!

Rooms were very spacious, beds very comfy, staff very friendly and food was well presented and lots of healthy options. Treatments were outstanding. Rest of facilities felt very crowded (stayed Sun-Mon) and there are not enough loungers in the main pool area. Screen mirroring function on TV doesn't work. Overall very nice stay but I personally prefer other Champneys locations.

My original review wasn't posted so I'm editing for context. I visited 24/10. Long queue at check-in a computer not working. My daughter's bag had a broken handle and flip flops too big. Unable to change them. Breakfast had poor choices, nothing healthy, and someone forgot to light the burners under the urns so the coffee was cold. Plunge pool closed. Indoor hot tub Spa area not working. Outdoor hot tub cold. Shortage of relaxation area spaces but the hands free massage was pleasant. Swimming at the fitness centre was good though no aqua classes. Lunch was good though only if you liked dill with everything. Left early as after visiting Aqua Sauna early this year I was disappointed with many aspects of this 'luxury' spa.
