My visit to Champneys Tring was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, and the treatments were truly amazing—just what I needed to relax and unwind. A special shout out to Roderick and Rob on the front desk, who were incredibly helpful and made sure everything went smoothly during my stay. Their support and friendliness really added to the overall experience. I can't wait to return!"

We recently visited Champneys Tring for a relaxing stay, and it exceeded my expectations again. The gardens are simply stunning—peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect spot to unwind. A special thanks to Rob and Rod, who were extremely helpful with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Had a brilliant one day visit to Champneys Tring! The staff are brilliant and I really enjoyed my Lymphatic Drainage. I do feel like the pool area is quite small and the place feels a little dated now in terms of tech etc. Some more sun loungers would be good in summer as people were practically fighting for them. Our day entry included lunch - this exceeded expectations. So much choice! No sorry salads around here. Will definitely be back.

I’m struggling here because I’d like to go back but there are a number of things I was put off by! - We were given a sheet of treatments to book when we checked in and we went and had a drink and planned what we wanted to do. When I went to book at the spa reception, the receptionist said that none of the things were available and that I had an old sheet! She gave me a new one and I picked something similar and she said, oh actually we don’t do any of that section now either! Complete waste of time! - The smoke alarms had been removed from our room and the wires just left hanging out. Seemed very unsafe on a few levels! - There seemed to be a real lack of staff, especially in the cleaning department. The plunge pool kept flooding the sauna area, one runner came in and trod grass and mud everywhere, wet towels built up everywhere. It didn’t seem hygienic at all. - There was a relaxing area with water beds and hot tub and on the wall was a big sign saying no mobiles. I sat there whilst two girls filmed continuous TikToks in the hot tub and after them shouting and screaming about angles for ten minutes, we had to leave. Why isn’t anyone monitoring these areas? The staff were an absolute delight though, especially the lovely woman in the terrace cafe area. She seemed to be there on her own most of the time and she never snapped, never stopped smiling and tried to fulfill everything requested!! The food was delicious, at all meals and we loved the grounds! So much to do and places to sit and relax!

I did a last-minute solo one night spa stay in September 2024. I paid the discounted Vitality rate for the room and think I would have been disappointed if I'd paid the full price The rooms are quite tired, especially the bathrooms and could do with an upgrade. The grounds did look very well-kept though The spa, gym and pool areas were kept very clean. While busy, I had no problem finding a lounger during the day I didn't do any treatments during my stay, but I did feel there was a good variety of inclusions (gym, pool, relaxation areas, jacuzzi, sauna) to keep me occupied for a 1 night stay The highlight for me was the food - plenty of options for dinner, breakfast and lunch, and everything I tried tasted good I did leave something in my room on checking out and Champneys have been completely unresponsive to my emails and phone calls to try to arrange getting it back
