July 2024Superb outside meal with impeccable service. Just drove in from the road and had a wonderful late lunch in the garden which was overhung with a grapevine . A lovely surprise and will definitely revisit.

September 2024We stopped here for lunch while on a walk. I ordered the glazed pork belly from the smoker and the meat was delicious - well worth the wait. Interesting cut on their chips - made them nice and crispy. We were a bit hot from walking so enjoyed the covered outdoor area as it was too warm inside.

July 2024What a surprise! While the location isn’t the best (it’s right on a main road) the food is excellent. A nice, classic old English pub with excellent smoked bbq meats… who knew. The pork ribs were some of the best I’ve had, and the brownie dessert was outrageous.
