February 2025My wife and I are returnees to The Ivy House, as It an ideal overnight stop on the way to London or for lunch. We stayed overnight on St Valentines Night and enjoyed a fantastic meal. Fine Dining for sure. What's so special about this Fullers pub, is that the food menu is prepared fresh on the premises. Breakfast is also freshly cooked to order. Dietary requirements are met. Service was excellent. The rooms are small but clean suitable for short stays. If you like live music, then this is played, every Friday, in the bar area, but if you prefer a more peaceful environment, then the restaurant is ideal. The ambience in either room is warm and welcoming, well decorated well fitting for a local rural public house.
