Our warm and welcoming brasserie and pub in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, harks back to its roots as a coaching inn. There are cosy nooks aplenty for a quiet pint, as well as a beautiful airy restaurant for dining.
We are famous for our monthly changing set menu, as well as our extensive a la carte selection and our fabulous party menus. Our chefs cook everything from scratch in the open kitchen (which also adds a little theatre to the proceedings). In the summer months, our hidden courtyard is the perfect suntrap for al fresco dining with a chilled glass of our bespoke bubbly.
We really are proud of the diversity our pub offers and we cater for numerous special occasions including wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate events and much more... we look forward to discovering in which and how many of the ways that the Highwayman will become your perfect fit.

April 2024This stunning venue was Rosie and Josh's wedding reception in October. Filled with beautiful autumnal colours it didn't disappoint. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The food was insane !!! The chef created a wonderful vegan meal for me. I would definitely go back with hubby in tow. In the meantime I look forward to any future couples marrying at this lovely venue.
