We have a range of conferencing and meeting room facilities across both our venues:
• A tiered 300 seat auditorium for formal conferences and musical performances, with high-spec audio visual and media streaming capabilities
• A large galleried area for exhibitions and displays that can also
serve as an auditorium to seat up to 200
• An internal plaza where delegates can enjoy refreshments and networking
• Six break-out seminar rooms to accommodate 10 – 80 people, ideal for sessions in boardroom, cabaret or theatre styles
• A fully-equipped press room with high speed Wi-Fi and advanced media facilities
• Stunning 17th century surroundings across four rooms in our Manor House
• Free conference centre car park and wi-fi access
Rothamsted is uniquely situated to host a range of events. We are just 10 minutes from central St Albans and 10 minutes from London Luton International Airport and 25 minutes from London St. Pancras International. Our professional service means we can accommodate most needs.
Rothamsted Manor is a Grade 1 listed building and therefore has conduct rules and heritage guidelines which must be adhered to. A full copy of our guidelines is available from the team upon request. Failure to abide by these terms may lead to a fine and/or termination of your event with immediate effect. Rothamsted Conference Centre: Unavailable for private events. The Hive is an interactive workshop area where groups can immerse themselves, explore ideas, learn and find solutions. The room enjoys a bright, vibrant colour scheme, moveable whiteboards (must be requested at time of booking), a refreshments point outside the room, flexible seating and multiple screens.
It has two large, wall-mounted screens which can connect to two laptops.
The room is usually set up in theatre style with 40 scholar chairs and 4 relaxed chairs. This creates a flexible meeting space, perfect for workshops, training sessions, seminars, or more informal meetings.
Our scholar chairs are fully mobile with a foldable work surface, that can accommodate right or left-handed users. The work surface can be folded neatly to the rear. Integrated under-seat storage and a cup holder mean you can relax in the knowledge that there won’t be any coffee spills and plenty of space to work.
