At Metropolitan, we offer an ideal setting for any event and every occasion.

Whether you’re looking for a venue for a Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary, Family Celebration, Christmas Party, Christening, Barmitzvah, Batmitzvah or for a Conference, Metropolitan is the perfect place for your next event or celebration. With four versatile function rooms to choose from, we can cater for events from 20 to 300, providing space sure to suit any occasion. Each of our rooms for hire, provide a blank canvas that allows you to be as creative as you want to be, no matter what type of event, we’re guaranteed to have something that will suit you perfectly!

Our large Ballroom, Glindon Room, retro style Aldenham Room and Studio all have free WiFi, a private bar, space for a dance floor and air conditioning. Our onsite events, catering, and entertainment team will work with you to provide a food, drink, and entertainment package to ensure everything is just as you want it and goes according to plan. Outside caterers and suppliers may also be hired for your event, if you have something particular in mind.

What’s more, we have an outdoor terrace and patio and are surrounded by 36 acres of private sports grounds, which can be hired for football or cricket, and outdoor entertainment.

Our public bar and restaurant, Monty's Bar & Kitchen is open every day, and Metropolitan has an excellent events calendar including Tribute and Comedy Nights, Family Fun, Festivals, Fireworks, Christmas and New Year Parties.

LOCATION
Just outside Watford, within half a mile of the M1 (Junction 5) and the A41 and the M25 only 3 miles away, we are ideally located with unbeatable parking facilities.

ABOUT THE STUDIO

Our Studio is a multi-functional space, ideal for kids parties and christenings. It is also popular for training, presentations and meetings, and fitness classes.

The room is available, as part of our Kids Party Package, for morning or afternoon parties. Room hire includes tables and chairs and is on a self set up basis, allowing you to choose the layout and decorate, as you wish.

It is available for room (dry) hire only, or with our catering package.

The room is located on the ground floor, overlooking the grounds.

    Myself and my Husband recently got married at the Metropolitan Bushey. We held our ceremony and reception in the ballroom. We had the most amazing day! The venue was lovely and the events staff team were exceptional!! Nothing was too much trouble and the team were well organised and kept the day flowing. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to hold their wedding or any other special occasion. We will definitely be coming back for any future events! Cant thank the hole staff team enough ❤️

    Parking changed! Another app..Not very clear understanding when you enter the parking tariff area and there are no spaces available in terms of time limit before you donate £100 (likely ex VAT)
