I did not stay so can not comment on the rooms. We had a lovely time and felt very looked after. Staff where friendly and attentive. The spa facilities were great, the food was fresh, healthy and very tasty . The complimentary fizz for my daughters birthday was unexpected and made it feel extra special. I had an amazing treatment, facial and head massage. Great day overall. The sun was shining too :-)

I love visiting Champneys ( usually Henlow) for a 2 night break twice a year using return vouchers. It has always been good but I feel everything has moved up a notch this time! Rooms have been upgraded and changes have been made making check in and check out simpler. The quality of the food is even better than it was and the buffet lunch has been reinstated. All in all a lovely relaxing stay. Looking forward to next time.

I was very happy to get an upgraded room. I have been coming to Champneys, mainly Henlow, for many years and have never before had an upgrade, however, there was no heating in the room (radiator did not work, and couldn't be fixed). I was so cold the first night, that I could not sleep, so was too tired for anything the next day. The cleaner did not do the bathroom very well, tissues not replaced, and towels to stand on were left where I used them. Shower head over bath was left in bath. Shame, as lovely room.

The communal steam or sauna room was not available on our visit & as we visited as a couple we would have liked to have spent time doing that together & chatting instead of sitting with strangers in the single rooms. Bedrooms were nice but bathroom is a bit dated. We had a superior room with a nice view, you don't spend much time in the room but that was my one gripe. We had an overnight package & the meals were all brilliant, plenty of options for a vegetarian like me. We will book again as we had a great tims

Overall we had a lovely stay, and in particular the staff and food were amazing. We stayed overnight and found the walls were very thin, we could hear our neighbours TV very clearly in the evening and the morning. The relaxation room could do with some aromatherapy to add to the relaxing vibe, perhaps also a sign outside asking people to keep quiet as it’s hard to relax with loud voices coming and going. There are signs in the pool area asking people not to leave towels on beds when not in use but this didn’t seem to be monitored at all so it was sometimes difficult to find somewhere to relax in the pool area.
