Visited for a wedding. Absolutely stunning venue, just unique, it's both timeless and very modern. The staff are also very accommodating as well as super professional. The bar leading onto the Italian verandah is probably one of the nicest venues in Hampshire. I would give 6 stars if I could, really fabulous. Our children also loved the garden space, they can roam free but in plain sight, so felt very safe for them.

We felt sad leaving this beautiful place. We had a garden room which was spacious and very quiet. We enjoyed spending our days at the pool and didn’t really need to leave the hotel. The staff were lovely. Every single one of them. So kind, so polite, always smiling, always here to help get you something and a pride in their work. Adam was the coolest. He makes everything possible. Marco made us feel right at home. I wish I had written the name of everyone who made our stay special and welcoming. Every single one was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. We loved the food in the oak room and enjoyed the burger by the pool side. Also we’ve enjoyed the kids menu some of the nights when we wanted a light bite. We will definitely come back for another staycation as it has been simply lovely and very relaxing.

We went for afternoon tea as a belated Mother’s Day treat, lovely location, staff were very polite. Sasha served us our cake and sandwich selection, she was very attentive and friendly. Will come again! Would recommend

Spent three nights at the hotel and ate in The Oak Room each evening for dinner. The third night, one of my party was not very hungry so they ordered the soup and a side as their main dish. The chef sent out a second carafe of soup, I thought, as a gesture to make sure they had enough to eat. When the bill was presented, our server advised that since the soup was served as a main dish with an extra serving, that they needed to charge us for two mains. For the amount of money we spent in this restaurant over three nights, this seemed a bit petty.
