Despite not booking they managed to find us a table for Sunday lunch. The staff were friendly , helpful, and well presented. The food was fantastic and served within 6 or 7 minutes. A high standard here. Would definitely recommend.

I stumbled upon this kept held secret driving backroads from London to Brecon and needed to step out of the car for a few minutes. I didn’t not expect to have such a blissful and wholehearted experience essentially “in the middle of nowhere”. The food was cooked exceptionally. The hospitality was that of a Michelin star restaurant. If you find yourself accidentally or even intentionally in this little town, go here. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic as ever, always our go to as a family with young boys. The food is fab and the service exceptional! The gentleman serving tonight (Alex I think) is always so welcoming, remembers us and makes such an effort to make us feel welcome. Unfortunately another party on the next table were intentionally quite rude about my children this evening, but even that didn’t detract from a lovely meal. Rain or shine, our favourite pub to support ❤️
