A magnificent stone-walled room with a huge open fireplace. The Tudor Hall offers a unique event space, with stone walls, a large stone fireplace, direct garden access, perfect for team building, and stunning garden views. It also includes two complimentary break out spaces "The Great Oven" and "Boyling House" , which can accommodate five people and ten people respectively, and also has it's own toilets so if totally self contained.

January 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thornbury Castle. We choose this castle to celebrate my 60th birthday and I couldn't be happier with that choice. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming, the food was superb and the interior of the castle is so beautiful and grand. Our bedroom (De Percy) was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. My only niggle was that the bathroom could do with a shelf, positioned close to the sink to house my toiletries. We also loved the fact that the castle owners employ a lot of the local youngsters from Thornbury village, who were very interesting to chat to and had a great deal of knowledge relating to the castle and the surrounding areas. The castle is very atmospheric and steeped in history, which makes it a wonderful place to spend a relaxing break and Thornbury Castle certainly exceeded our expectations.

Our room is Contesaa of Salisbury is gorgeous, so much attention to detail and spotless, we are beyond impressed, we already want to come back!!! Thank you for management taking such good care of this wonderful historic place and providing excellent service!

January 2025This was a very special experience, I have always wanted to spend the night in a castle! I was treated by my husband to this stay and it was wonderful. Gorgeous castle and grounds, close to the village, was easy to walk in and see the cute shops and cosy pubs too. We had afternoon tea and a tasting menu for dinner which was pricey but delicious I felt like a queen for 24 hours! Highly recommend 👌

January 2025Lovely rooms, lovely hotel overall too. The only things that pulled down my review was really the fact that it's the UK (cold 🥶) but yeah, GREAT place! The food was also really good, and the staff were SO nice and always there to help. It was a few weeks ago, but I loved it.
