Just a short distance from Gloucester we are in the ideal location. As an experienced wedding venue we have our own garden marquee for your special day and for conferences a selection of meeting rooms and facilities that are unrivalled in the area.
We believe that local produce, cooked creatively and well is the heart of a good restaurant. And that’s just what we do at Hatton Court. It’s one of the great things about being in the Cotswolds – we’ve got so many brilliant local producers to work with that we’re spoilt for choice. That means you will be too. Great place, afternoon tea was nice. Not amazing, but service was good and the restaurant is nicely laid out. The car park could do with a bit of a revamp; very steep and lots of pot holes, making parking quite challenging and anybody with mobility issues be careful. I would recommend though..

One night gift from my family. Hotel was so beautiful, staff couldn’t be more friendly, food was lovely. Excited to be told we had been upgraded to an executive suite.. but oh goodness it wasn’t good, very outdated, paint work was bad, very tired. Toilet dirty, stains round bottom of the toilet, dirty ring in the toilet bowl, had to flush several times to get toilet paper down. Bath so old and stained, I couldn’t use it, the top of the tap was broken off. We wouldn’t have stayed, but the bed was clean large and comfortable. I used the toilet in the hotel. We made the most of our stay and enjoyed it. Just wouldn’t go back.

We stayed 2 nights on one of the hotel's packages. Pros: it's a great base for exploring Gloucester/the Malverns/Cotswolds/Forest of Dean, room clean, bed comfortable, friendly, polite staff. Cons: 1. Nowhere near enough parking for the number of guests, especially if there is some kind of celebration happening. We arrived @4 pm on a Sunday and took the last available "space". People end up parking in every available gap. There was nowhere for the cars that arrived after us. 2. Although the far views from the room, across the valley, were nice, there are no nice gardens to enjoy as all the space is taken up by marquees for events. All you can see are the roofs. 3. The hotel is looking very tired. The decor is very tatty - stained carpets, dirty walls, chipped paintwork, scratched and stained desk and bedside tables in room. Bathroom looked reasonably new but finish poor. Everything is in serious need of an upgrade and refresh. 4. Food - vastly overpriced for what it is. Breakfasts OK, but nothing is as described on the dinner menu. If you know your dishes and the ingredients that should be in them, you will be sadly disappointed. Oh, and you'd better like black pepper, as everything is absolutely coated in it. Staff clearly don't know or understand the menu either - they couldn't tell us what cheeses were on the cheese board. £13 for 3 basic cheeses, by the way! 5. Service - friendly, polite, well-intentioned, but haphazard. Breakfast orders regularly get mixed up between tables or you're served the wrong thing. Sadly there's nothing particularly special or luxurious about the Hatton Court. It is very "no frills". We've stayed in smarter, better budget hotels with equal or better facilities.
