Glasgow University Union, Drawing Room

Located in the heart of the West End, Glasgow University Union is a historic venue with impressive architecture and original features. It offers great flexibility, allowing it to be transformed into a stunning wedding venue or a professional corporate setting. Our venue has two spacious rooms capable of accommodating up to 200 guests for conferences, birthday parties, and evening receptions. Additionally, we offer three more intimate spaces, ensuring we have the perfect room for your event. Our bars are fully stocked with a wide selection of quality drinks, and our exceptional catering team prepares all dishes in-house. They are also adept at catering to specific requirements, whether you prefer canapés or a three-course meal.

The Drawing Room is a newly renovated space at the GUU, formerly known as the old smoking room. It has been transformed into a versatile area that serves as a coffee shop during the day and transitions into a bar or dining space in the evening. With a seating capacity of up to 60 guests for dinner, it provides an intimate setting perfect for smaller weddings or private dinners.
