Friendly staff, quiet place, clean rooms larger than what I usualy have on other hotels. Walking distance(20 minutes) to the town centre. Also strong wifi and large parking area on rear, a small playing ground for kids and a nice area to enjoy your meal.

It was fine. The room was clean but a bit spartan. No carpet made it a bit unwelcoming. Some areas a bit tired. Nice bathroom. Comfy bed. Staff were a bit over keen to have us dine there.

Stayed for the first time on Saturday night for neices wedding. The staff and food were brilliant as was the evening, however, the rooms are not just tired, I'm afraid they are dirty. Thank goodness the bed was clean or we would have had to try and get a taxi home. The day was lovely but the rooms ( we stayed in room 8) are awful 😔

A hotel of two halves!! Stayed one night here in August 24. Never again. Had a great meal in the restaurant after a long day at work. Food was great, service was perfect and prices reasonable. However, I then went to my room and was unimpressed to say the least. Room was run down and in a poor state. Zero WiFi signal in the room and phone signal doesn’t exist (I don’t blame the hotel for the phone signal, but coupled with poor internet meant I couldn’t work) There was no hot water to the room for a shower. I ran for 10 mins before it came lukewarm. Fed it back to the hotel and got a poor response. I pushed for a better response but never got a reply. I very rarely post a bad review and I’ve even complimented them on the resultant part of the hotel. The picture of the bathroom was post shower
