Located four miles west of Chelmsford in Essex, the Newland Hall Country Estate is the perfect setting for your wedding day.

The grand, 15th-century Tudor manor house, complete with its own moat, sits within over 100 acres of gorgeous grass and woodland and four picturesque lakes. The stunning grounds, paired with the beautiful rolling countryside surroundings, provides the most spectacular backdrop for both the big day itself and your treasured photos.
The house has recently been refurbished to provide a premier wedding venue for both ceremonies and receptions. Suites such as the Henry VIII Room have been beautifully maintained to preserve the stunning hand-carved Tudor beams and original features. The room also boasts fantastic views across the grounds, offering a delightful setting in which to say your vows.

The custom-built Gazebo in the grounds is the perfect place to exchange your vows.

Following your ceremony, you can enjoy a relaxed drinks and canapé reception on the lawn before heading to the marquee for the rest of your celebrations.

With over 20 years of experience in running weddings, we always plan to ensure that your coordinator that's organised your day for you will be there on the day to run it for you as well, ensuring total continuity.

When you plan your wedding at Newland Hall, you will enjoy full exclusive use of the house, gardens and marquee for a wonderful, private celebration. Our staff and suppliers use a separate driveway, car park and entrance for total exclusivity for you and your guests.

Newland hall is an exceptional venue. Very beautiful, compact and historical. If you're looking for a magical place to get married then look no further. We were married there last Friday 2nd of August 2024 and what a day we had. We had researched a lot of venues on line but this was the first we visited and I fell in love with it straight away. What also made this venue pleasable was the staff. We met with Kelly first who showed us around and really sold the venue to us. Then our extremely wonderful wedding Co ordinator Lucy had gone above and beyond to make sure our day went so perfect, and it surely did. All the other Attentive staff members from those who helped set up, those who served us both in the bridal room and groom's room, and also throughout the sit down meal and bar service, where so polite, respectful and professional. The food was excellent and they catered for all the different types of food requirements needed. Compliments to the chef and his/her staff. The in house DJ was excellent. He played accordingly to the genre of music we requested and our guests were so happy dancing away the night. All in all we would highly recommend Newland Hall for your wedding or any other special occasion you may want to celebrate. We chose the perfect place to start our married life. We got married here on 03.08.2024 and cannot recommend highly enough! From the very begining they have been incredibly helpful, nothing has been too much, no question too small. Lucy made our day run perfectly and was so so lovely. The food was fantastic, as was the DJ who kept the party going all night. We received so many compliments on our choice of venue- how beautiful it is and how amazing all the staff were. If we were to do our wedding over again I would choose Newland Hall every time.
