The Botanist - Edinburgh, The Greenhouse

Been recommend this place a few times, so I was glad to finally give it a try. You can't beat some live music, and the band they had were really quite decent. Quite loud for having chat over the dinner table, but that's on us for sitting to close. The service was great, and the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Now the food..... I got the giant piri piri kebab. The name lived up to the mammoth portion size. As I write this the next morning, I still feel full. The burgers looked fantastic, I also tried a bit of the katsu curry, which was phenomenal. The reason for 4 stars is that it isn't great value for money and was on the pricey side for what you are getting. Apart from that the restaurant is beautiful. The atmosphere is great. And the food was lovely. Would highly recommend.
