I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Edinburgh Centre. We were pleasantly surprised with an early check-in, which made our arrival so much smoother. Enrico at reception was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcome right away. The breakfast selection was great, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommend!

Our stay was not as comfortable as we expected only due to lack of air conditioning. Even if the staff was humble and tried going lengths to make our stay comfortable, not much could be done. Daily Room make up service was not up to the mark and we found linen, carpet floor and bathrooms unclean after room make up service. Sandra, at reception desk was very helpful and engaging and looked after our requests well, throughout our stay.

Overall a nice hotel. Pool is nice but it's on the basement floor so everyone who comes in for the restaurant or bar can look in when they come down to use the toilets. Toilets in the basement are not very nice for a hotel. Felt more like public toilets with nicer products. Rooms are as expected. Service is good. Overall in need of a small refurb in some places but overall a decent stay. Price was inflated during my stay due to fringe so not good value for £350+ but for a normal stay it would be OK. Location is nice. A great wood fired pizza cam opposite. 100% halal. Mosque opposite too.

Great location for walking & safe. Room clean but size too small for family of 4 w luggage. But the price is right. Pool is nice, clean. Jacuzzi well welcomed after day of walking up Edinburgh hills BUT Jacuzzi barely warm, chlorine levels way too high & kids go in despite signage disallowing it..though such signage is not obvious enough
