Within a 10 minute walk or 5 minute tram ride of No.32 Hotel you will reach the bustling shopping area of Princess Street, with many big name high street stores along with great views of Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street Gardens or turn on to upmarket George Street which is full of luxury restaurants, cocktail bars and designer shops.

A leisurely 20 minute walk from No.32 Hotel and you will be in the Edinburgh's Old Town, a labyrinth of cobbled streets, narrow wynds and hidden courtyards, all amazingly well preserved and steeped in the city's history. At its centre is the Royal Mile, a remarkable street leading from the seat of Edinburgh Castle. The Royal Mile certainly has history: when you walk down the street you start at an extinct volcano aptly named Castle Rock where the impressive Edinburgh Castle sits. As you continue down a slope that was formed by the retreat of an ice age over 325 million years ago to the grandiose Holyrood Palace at the foot of the Royal Mile.

Providing unparalleled accommodation when you stay in Edinburgh, No.32 Hotel is a breath of fresh air and really is quite unlike anywhere you’ve ever stayed before.

The Victorian Townhouse is set in the beautiful Haymarket area in Edinburgh's West-End, offering guests a real taste of the Scottish capital. Our townhouse features carefully sourced furniture from India to Morocco and beyond, bringing the world to you in our tranquil 32 at No.32 bar where you can enjoy an eclectic range of selected wines or a dram whilst relaxing within the beautiful interiors of the original 18th century house.

We stayed here for a weekend. Great location about a 30 minute walk from the centre and castle. 2 minute walk from Haymarket bus/tram stop and train station. Room was well equipped, bed comfortable. No curtains, only shutters in our bedroom. Informed on arrival that the card machine wasn’t working and we had to pay in cash - not an issue but would have been nice to receive a message in advance as we don’t carry large amounts of cash!

    1. Exit the airport and follow signs to the tram station. 2. Purchase your ticket from the convenient vending machine adjacent to the tram station. 3. Board the tram and relax during the 25-minute journey to the Hay market Station. 4. Disembark and take a short 5-minute walk to this family run hotel in a townhouse in s very quiet residential colony and yet filled with super markets, Indian and orientalise restaurants and walking distance to Leith which is stunning. There is a very large family room at the basement whose windows open into the green area. Seems newly renovated and tastefully done up. There is a reception area but most times there is no one around and you have to call an international phone number to invite the receptionist to attend to you. Young Indian girl Ashwini managing the property. Super friendly and helpful.
