December 2024Stayed one night for a private function. Food was delicious and the service was good. Shout out to ‘Tudor’ who was exceptional. Breakfast was delicious and the food was clearly cooked by an excellent chief best eggs ever. Lovely bathroom products and the fizzy wine was a lovely touch as were the caramel wafers.

January 2025Absolutely incredible stay!! Couldn't have asked for more. Location is perfect for easy access to town, room was spacious and comfortable with lovely big bathroom too! Staff were wonderful! I put a note in to say it was my friends birthday and they left out a wee happy birthday plate for her which was so special. We were only here for one night but immediately wished we had no other plans and could just stay in and stay for longer!! Couldnt recommend this hotel more... we will be back!

February 2025Had problem with the 3rd party booking (Hotels.com), date incorrect, after multiple tries with Hotels.com the receptionist at the Murrayfield kindly corrected the date and checked me in to a wonderful, relaxing hotel with an excellent bar and restaurant within a classic, stately old Victorian building. Great selection of Scotch at the bar at reasonable prices, great menu and food in the restaurant, but the room was the best part--completely updated with a muted, modern style, large comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, great view out the huge bay window in the front. Location is excellent, Corstorphine Road is right on multiple bus routes right into the city or to the airport. I never had to wait more than 2 minutes for the next bus. After a long day traveling, it was just what I needed. Thank you Louise!! PS - I highly recommend you book directly with the hotel, better pricing and you don't get the 3rd party run-around

January 2025From the minute we walked through the door Rosica on reception was so helpful. We arrived early and she accommodated us so well by offering us to sit in the restaurant with a glass of water whilst we waited for the room to be ready. Upon finding out that my partner was pregnant she went above and beyond to upgrade our room to one that was more accessible and not up loads of stairs. The room itself is lovely, spacious, clean and the bed is comfy. The bathroom is beautiful with an amazing bath and shower. All was excellent with easy travel into the city. Amazing!
