Charwood is a locals favourite within the South of Edinburgh.. We have two fantastic function suites which are ideal for many different events. Only Pentland suite can hold a party for 120 people comfortably and has its own bar, entrance and dancefloor. The Balfour Suite is perfect for a more formal dinner or a small family get together, which can seat up to 28. We boost a Josper Grill oven and a wood fired pizza oven. We have a car park of 30+ spaces which is rare luxury in Edinburgh.

January 2025The choice in the menu was great, there was something to suit all three of us. When it arrived the food was excellent. The service was also excellent, the young lady was very pleasant and seemed genuinely interested in our opinion of the food. It was busy but we were able to have a conversation without being distracted by noise from other tables. Convenient to A 720 and good parking facilities. Will be back soon.

February 2025We had a lovely table at the window looking out to the garden/deck. Menu was good & food/drinks good.. poor portion of chips on the 2 dishes that had them. drinks menu wasn’t up to date as it only gave 1 rose wine but when asked they had another one to offer. Desert menu was our favourite.. the ice-cream Sundays were excellent.
