December 2024Came here for Christmas day & and I absolutely loved it! Staff were fantastic, the food was delicious, and for a 3 course meal, it was reasonably priced as well. Would definitely come back on another Edinburgh visit! Many thanks again for having us!

December 2024Absolutely the foods are amazing specially the Sirloin Steak and Tamarind Spiced Chicken Wings. Our dessert was sticky toffee pudding and Chocolate Fondant absolutely mind blowing. We finished our lunch with Espresso Martini and Smoke On The Water. We were really looking forward to finally trying Gordon Ramsay's foods and did not disappointed us. Highly recommended this place xx

December 2024If there is a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, I shall be there to try, food quality is pretty similar to the one at London, the 2 starters were good, especially the prawn cocktail, good balance of texture and flavour, leading your appetite to the great mains.... I ordered the ribs and was amazed that I finished it, savoury, sweet, tender and gentle to your teeth! Delicious! But for my wife, her cod was very salty, very bad, not sure what they did to the fish but it was the worst. Service was great, ambience is cosy and comfortable, do try if you are around the area.

January 2025The food was really good but the poor service and price lets it down. On New Year's Eve, we waited half an hour after our booked slot for our table to be ready, and in that time it took 25 minutes to be served at the bar (which was not busy). The table service was also very slow throughout the meal. Although the food was good, it’s massively overpriced for what you get. We've eaten at some fantastic restaurants with great quality produce, for half the price. They also have very poor options for gluten free diners, none of the desserts were gluten free or could be made gluten free and there was no effort to accommodate dietary requirements throughout the meal. For the price being paid, that came as a bit of a surprise. In our experience, more expensive restaurants are usually much more accommodating. Overall it was a good evening but we wouldn’t come again.

December 2024Expected more but still very happy. Firstly I should say that this was a New Years Eve menu that was really disappointing. The steak was offered with no vegetables for example and no vegetable sides to add if fancies. I went for scallops. Both came and they were delicious even though after two bites they were gone. I had the venison sausage and mash which I have to say was disappointing. Limited flavour but the wife had the rib eye which was fantastic but at nearly twice the price of the sausage I would expect as much. The dessert of sticky toffee pudding was lovely and the Xmas pudding was like nothing I have ever eaten before, absolutely epic. Service was bang on.
