Lovely weekend away despite having noisy neighbors and people outside during the night. Bar was lovely and good outdoor seating options too, good food and drink options. Pool was okay, quite strong with chlorine so eyes were hurting even just sitting on the side. Steam room and sauna was lovely! And the gym was pretty decent. Spa was lovely, had two treatments with Katarina, lovely lady and nice relaxing treatments! Breakfast was standard, also a good selection of restaurants in the local area ( car preferably needed ). Staff were also lovely.

Nice hotel Stayed for a New Years Eve Gala. The staff were amazing and a real credit to the hotel. Dinner nice. Rooms were fine - nothing amazing but clean and warm. Breakfast very average. Has a pool, which was nice, slightly cool for my liking. The jacuzzi bit was a waste of time as attached to the pool so it was cold. However the sauna and steam room worked well and were clean and spacious. Changing rooms need a bit of a refurbishment but handy just to go back to your own room to shower etc. We stayed in a superior double so it was in the main part of the hotel. The Bar area was nice, roomy with comfy seating areas. Overall not bad value for money. Don't expect posh or amazing but I would go again.

Husband and I have stayed for 1 night whilst he had a meeting. We had paid an extra £20 to arrive early. We came to check in at 1pm to be rudely told check in isn't until 3pm!!!!! With that response straight away I became rude back. Replied, we paid for an early check in. No apology at all. so really not a great start. I thought 'great' no children and I can use the spa whist hubby goes off to his meeting. Finally found our room after getting lost (staff helped me find it) room was clean but dated. I don't have a problem with that. So got going to the spa. Quite excited as I don't get to have a spa very often. But stepped foot in the pool and jacuzzi and it was so so cold I got straight back out. So disappointed 😞 had a treatment. The staff member was lovely. I can't say a bad word about her. Would I stay again??? No is the answer

Visited with my partner for a weekend away, £20 for early check in which was pre-ordered and all in order on arrival, reception was helpful in advising appropriate parking areas and location of the room, Room itself was ok, could do with forms of renovation, double room comprised of 2 single pushed together but it did the job, no usable plugs by the bed which wasn’t ideal, not the end of the world though. We did not get the robes promised to us when booking. Also not sure the tap water in the rooms was drinkable, it looked almost milky in the glass but the bar was happy to fill up a water bottle for us from their tap which was fine. Biggest issue was the people unfortunately, walls were extremely thin and people both inside and outside keeping us up until 1am and then loud tv waking us up at 7am, could do with clear quiet hours established. The pool was quite unfortunate, for a spa hotel, personally wasn’t expecting so many children which don’t set the most relaxing atmosphere you would aim to get at a spa - I do believe many people can use this as a public pool and pay to come in - even so two adults came in with training equipment maybe even indicating some kind of lesson taking place on the Sunday, Gym was good, predominantly cardio machines, but good amount of cable machines to use, could maybe do with another bench and slightly bigger free weights area, was a little small, otherwise solid, Best part was definitely the Spa treatments, Katarina did both mine and my partner’s treatments, which were all amazing and we both left glowing and happy from those! Additionally, all the staff were lovely.

We arrived early for a much awaited spa day and was welcomed by the lovely people in the golf reception with a coffee and let into the spa. We drank our coffee and waited for staff to arrive. They finally came in just 5 minutes before our treatment time. They completely ignored us and proceeded to walk past us stocking up robes and water and doing other general house keeping duties before finally calling one of our names for a treatment, 15 minutes late. We asked if we could change into robes and they replied that we could have the treatments in our clothes. We said we'd rather not and were tutted at and then asked to prove that we had robes included in our package as they had nothing on the system. We showed them the booking and they begrudgingly gave us robes but before we had time to change into them they started calling again for my daughter to come for treatment. We said we'd just go and get changed first if they'd show us where the changing rooms were and then she said that the treatment would just have to be shorter. At this point another lady arrived and smiled and said good morning and asked if everything was OK so I told her that actually no it wasn't. We explained what had gone on and she also said the treatments would have to be shorter because we were past our start time, again we said that we were there 45 minutes early so actually it's not our fault if there's not enough staff and the staff that are here don't start on time. I requested a full refund as it was blatantly clear that we were an inconvenience to them and I was told that it would be in my account within 5 working days. That was 3 weeks ago. I've had no communication from them and I think they are ignoring me , hoping I'll go away and forget about my £375!!! I won't!! What was supposed to be a relaxing birthday treat for my two daughters and I turned out to be a totally unnecessary stressful time. The staff in the spa made no eye contact, didn't say good morning, tutted, completely ignored us and then wanted to cut short our treatments! This wonderful customer service obviously extends higher up the ranks as apparently a manager needed to authorise my refund and I've had no contact in any way shape or form from anyone regarding my refund, despite filling in a form with all the details on the day. Would not recommend. Update!!! Today I was contacted by a lady called Eloise who said that she had sent me several emails over the past few weeks and suggested I check my junk box. She then offered me a complimentary revisit to the spa which I refused. After this she put me on hold and on her return she said she would get in touch with spaseekers as that is who I booked through and sort out a full refund for me. I asked how long this would take and was told 5 working days. So the saga continues. Still waiting for a refund. I checked my junk emails and there was one email.on 7th March and another today, so definitely not several, just one and one today saying that they would call....funny how they can call after I leave reviews on Google and trip advisor but are unable to before this. I'll keep you posted!
