A traditional pub dating back to the 1850s, The Eastgate was originally a small brewery. Still famous for its perfect pints, it's now recognised as one of the best pubs in Chichester - promising great beer, hearty home cooking, and brewing up a fabulous atmosphere every day.
In the summer, we even offer parties the private hire of our pool room, the old stable building just off the garden. It’s perfect when the weather obliges, giving groups of up to 25 guests a great private venue and access to our lovely garden.

We loved this pub in Chichester, it's a proper old fashioned place with good service and Gales Ales. Perfect.

Really nice wee pub with a lovely beer garden. They had a pool table out back too and darts which is cool. It was ghostly quiet but in fairness it was a Tuesday and it seems like a more layed back bar. Great for post show drinks.
