February 2025We stayed in a normal room which was perfectly adequate but there are larger, older rooms with the high ceilings in the older parts of the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is very good. Not far to walk into town and very close to the station.

February 2025The executive room was in the "new" building. The room looked fairly standard and in need of refurbishment. The heating was very slow and after two hours the room still felt chilly. Bathroom was a good size but the water pressure in the shower was low but adequate. Breakfast was usual buffet and ok. My wife is coeliac and cooked her breakfast to order. They also had gluten free corn flakes and croissants.
