Be careful if you're picking up people from this Hotel, you will be charged £60 for the privilege!!! We had 3 family members staying for a funeral, my wife collected them on the day and has just received a £60 fine. Thanks very much!!!

I have stayed here a few times before with no issues. When booking this time I had to book a "premium" room as this was the last one available. Checked in with no issues, reception staff were friendly. I noticed a strong smell of smoke in the corridor as soon as I got out of the lift, and although someone had clearly tried to mask this using air freshener my room also smelt badly. To make matters worse, there was a lady in the room next door with two kids who wouldn't stop screaming - the impression I got was that she was living there rather than just staying for hte night. Complained at reception to be told that there were no more rooms available so my options were either to put up with it or cancel for a full refund. I chose the latter, and booked the Premier Inn, Widnes for less than half the price. Won't be staying here again.
