Following a recent renovation, the hotel now offers the ultimate setting to invite your guests. Earning a reputation as one of the largest function spaces in the area, we can accommodate up to 280 guests in our largest suite. As well as being licensed to hold civil ceremonies you can host your full day with us and all your guests in the one venue.
We can accommodate your overnight guests across 148 bedrooms, with a selection of family rooms, executive suites and of course a bridal suite for the newly weds. With plenty of on-site parking and excellent transport links with the train/tram station a 3 minute walk and Manchester Airport a 10 minute drive.

September 2024Receptionist was so friendly, helpful and explained everything perfectly to us. We stayed for 1 night with transfer to airport included. Room was small but very clean. Bed was so comfy and breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Only complaint was TV didn't work. We did tell reception and didn't do anything but other than that absolutely great stay. Would definitely stay again.

September 2024Friendly staff. Location is great as you can easily pop out to local restaurants, coffee shops or pubs. Easy enough to get to from the M6 with good parking facilities. Breakfast was very good, did not feel cheap, looked and tasted great. Rooms do the trick. Mention to Alicha & Thomas for their service during my stay.

August 2024Great value included breakfasts. Yes, room was small but we knew that and it was fine for a couple of nights with no large luggage. Would have liked more lighting especially something over the desk/dressing table. Only one bed spotlight was working. Staff welcoming and helpful. Housekeeping team provided hand soap on request. Breakfast staff efficient and friendly. Receptionist helped with our Rewards query. Would certainly book again.

August 2024Jo greeted us and checked us in on reception and was lovely, friendly and helpful. The same can be said for the breakfast host and waitresses. In fact, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The main hotel areas were great and the breakfast really, really good. The room was a little under par in that the double glazed units had blown and the paint was peeling and cracking in places so it felt quite tired. The beds were also a little squeaky and the room was fairly compact. Having said that the room was clean and reasonably comfortable so all in all it was a good few nights stay. I would come again particularly for the great staff and lovely breakfast.

September 2024What a joke. Booked a night stay using the best western app for flexible BB and diner for £99.90. When I came to check out they gave me an invoice for £180. When I questioned it they told me that was the invoice for my food. I then explained that I had booked this to be included. It has now taken me several phones calls to sort this out. Would I use this place again very unlikely. This issue has now been resolved. However I do feel it could have been a lot simpler than it did
