December 2024Lanterns & light show absolutely beautiful and magical evening a must visit at this time of year. Very busy lots of drink and food stalls. Also children's fairground rides. Loved every minute of it. Carpark area is controlled by stewards find a parking area and enjoy. 😊👌

December 2024Went in November but still a fantastic day out. Most of the outdoor enclosures were quiet but hardly anybody in the zoo, so had a great day anyway. Still lots to do and see.

December 2024Went for the light trail. Absolutely wonderful experience. Its just a shame they don't offer adult only times so we can get lost in the magic without screaming children. But other than that it was absolutely fantastic. So beautifully set up. Staff friendly and helpful. Magical. Will be back next year

December 2024Spent a long and exhausting day at Chester Zoo. The park is huge and there is so much to see, that we were footsore by the end of the day. Very excited to see the elephants, which for me personally was an experience worth every penny of the entrance fee. I could have watched them for hours.

December 2024An open plan zoo with such a large variety of animals. We did go on a bit of a cold day which caused some of the animals to stay inside but that's okay. Definitely need to revisit in better shoes as we spent the better part of 5 hours roaming around. Would highly recommend for any animal lovers.
