February 2025Great value for money. Had a lovely mother-daughter stay and really enjoyed our time. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed the pool and spa facilities as well as the lovely breakfast.

We were greeted with warm hospitality and, of course, the signature DoubleTree cookie, which was a lovely touch! The hotel is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by scenic gardens that add to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a great stay. The facilities were excellent, especially the spa and leisure area, which was perfect for unwinding. Lakeside restaurant and Clock Tower Pub offers a great selection of food and drinks, with attentive service throughout. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cheltenham and look forward to staying here again in the future! 🥂

January 2025What a gem of a hotel! Rooms are huge, beds & pillows so comfy. Bathroom excellent with a lovely shower. Had a quiet room overlooking the stream at the back it was so peaceful. The staff are all amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative if there is one is that the TV is too small, would be better if it was on the wall and a lot bigger but apart from that I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone

January 2025I went for a spa day. Lady on reception is really nice and friendly. Facial and neck, shoulder and back massage were amazing. Lovely cream tea and sandwiches after were nice. Only negative was out of the 4 showers only one had hot water. Spoke to a member who said it had been like it for ages. Really needs to be sorted out.

January 2025We went for a spa deal through spa seekers. We felt it was good value for money as had food and use of the spa included. The sauna and steam rooms and hot tub were great! The pool was really cold so we hardly used it. Unfortunately only one shower had hot water in the ladies changing room. Our restaurant experience was extremely mixed - the food was incredibly delicious and the service was fantastic, however we felt very awkward wearing our robes, especially when an older gentlemen on the table next to us complained to staff about us not being fully dressed!! (I had checked at the spa reception desk whether robes or clothes were best before we walked along, and was assured robes was typical for those using the spa). This ruined the experience for me as I felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable. Could you consider having a designated area in the restaurant for those using the spa or make other guests aware that some people might be wearing robes to avoid this situation again?
