Leonardo Hotel Cardiff, Whitehall

I absolutely love this hotel, stay here every time we go to Cardiff (the most underrated city in the world). Staff is great, the food is great, the rooms are great, the location is great. If you bring a car, press the button to go in the lot, and you add it to your reservation at check out for 25 pounds a night.

I don't think I've ever visited an establishment in my many, many travels where the staff were so delightfully efficient & friendly. From the lovely warm & enthusiastic welcome by Matilda on the desk to the farewell the next morning by her colleague. The restaurant staff were the same as well as the cleaning lady who helped us into our room when our card wouldn't work. The staff here are a credit to this organisation. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of variety. Not my favourite coffee, but acceptable given this is the UK. The rooms were spotlessly clean. A conveniently located hotel & we were given permission to leave our car in the car park after checkout so we could quickly do some shopping before departing. Great service all round.

We were met with a warm smile by Joanna in reception upon arrival and the booking in was smooth. We have been staying at this hotel for the last 4 years and we are never disappointed. The rooms are fantastic. The service is second to none and the location is really convenient. We would also like to thank Matilda who was on duty in reception when we checked out.
