January 2025Went to NYE event. Very apprehensive when pulling up in the car, looked well dodgy. Decided to go in after some thought, we were by far the oldest there but love most dance music. The security was brilliant, polite and thorough. The venue itself looked run down but when we got in, we loved every minute. The barstaff were really friendly and surprisingly pulled a good Guiness. All the reviews about beer prices being expensive, this is nonsense, yes its more expensive than the valleys workman's club but this is something different. All the party people there were there for the music and so friendly, I was probably like some of their grand dads. The music and lighting was excellent. The best NYE I've had in years. I'd recommend this place to anyone into dance music. Well done all involved.
