Cancellation policy
We understand that plans can change, so we offer a flexible cancellation policy for your peace of mind: • You can cancel your reservation up to seven days before the booking date and receive a full refund of your £10 deposit per person. • If you need to reduce the number of guests, you may do so up to 48 hours before the reservation time, and your deposit will remain fully refunded. • Please note that any changes made within 48 hours of the reservation may result in a partial deduction from your deposit. For private parties with room hire fee’s payable as the deposit: • Cancel your booking at least 7 days prior and you'll receive a full refund of your room hire fee. • Unfortunately, cancellations made after this 7 day window will not qualify for a refund of the room hire fee.
Other rules
0900-1200 for pre-booked corporate meetings only. For regular restaurant use and parties, we are open from 1200 daily until 2230, apart from Saturdays which are open later until 2330.

March 2025Really impressed, The Seven Stars is a gem. Our waiting staff for the evening were really attentive and went above and beyond to ensure great service. The menu had a great selection for everyone in our party including a good children’s menu. I definitely recommend The Seven Stars.

March 2025Excellent food! We hadn't booked so had to wait 40minutes for a table but it was worth it. Great selection with fantastic flavours and beautifully presented. We had the "ham, chicken & leek pie" & the "slow pork belly"

November 2024A very special treat. Tommy our waiter was so polite and professional and bubbly.. Excellent service and the food was just beautiful and tasty and fresh, excellent presentation. Sea bass truly divine. Shame the calamari no longer on the menu. Was good to see a couple of different ales on too. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Quite expensive but worth it for a special treat.

November 2024Went here last week with my partner for our 10 year anniversary. The interior decor is beautiful. The chili crispy beef starter was the best thing we ordered that night. The service was slow for us to get served and make our order, then we had to wait a long time for our waitress to see that we had finshed our starter and was ready for our mains. I understand that the restaurant was busy, but we could literally see everyone else getting served around us. My partner enjoyed his steak Guinness pie but my curry was salty and a little disappointing after the reviews I'd read. We did tell the waitress Kate when she asked if everything was OK, she just looked surprised and like I was being an inconvenience. Nothing was done about the food really. It was a little late, I ate the chicken and left the curry. When we asked for the bill, we got a receipt inside a black cover. However, we noticed that that other tables around us were getting electronic satisfaction surveys to fill in with their bill 😂, however we didn't get the chance to fill one in. Why bother with a satisfaction survey if you're not going to ask everyone to get an honest answer to improve? We were left a little disappointed by our experience here after hearing how great this place was for date night.
