The Rock Cottage Bristol, The French Classroom

The Rock Cottage is a well maintained and easily accessible building from 1820. It currently hosts a handful of businesses, active during the day, and after office hours, students turn up for their Spanish and French lessons. The two classrooms are on the ground floor, where the kitchenette is also accessible for everyone. The atmosphere is studious and friendly, and the rooms, with their big windows, immaculate walls and decorative metal window bars, are bright and welcoming.

The building seats at the top of a small hill in the centre of Bedminster, in South Bristol. It's easily accessible by train, bus or even plane and has its own private car park, big enough for up to 15 cars. Parson Street Train Station is round the corner as well as the bus stops for the lines 52, 71, 75, 76, 672, M1 (metrobus) and the A1, the shuttle from the airport, which is 20 minutes away. Temple Meads is 10 minutes away by taxi or e-scooter and you can park your Voi at the corner of West Street, Parson Street and Bedminster Down Road.

The venue is perfect for regular and one-off corporate events such as company get-togethers, meetings, conferences, panel sessions, innovation workshops, networking events... But it would also be ideal for creative workshops and lessons of all sorts. If you are a self employed teacher, a creative mind or an artist and want to share your passion, you found your place!

The French classroom, with all its plants, comfy chairs and tables of different sizes, can fit 12 people as it is, but could fit more if needed. It has a big white board, refillable chargers (5 colours), printer, laminator, and everything you need for your workshops and lessons. There is space to move around the table and the kitchenette and restrooms are opposite the corridor.

The White & Bright Room is a smaller empty space. The wide door, next to the entrance of the building, makes it accessible by wheelchair. With the nice light, you could use the space to exhibit, create or sell your art or unwanted items...

In the Rock Cottage, there are two classrooms where Bristolians can learn French and Spanish, mainly in the evening. You can use the French classroom when it is available on Tuesday evening or before 6pm everyday and over the weekends. It is a spacious, bright and cosy room with everything you need for a productive moment! It can host your meetings, trainings, lessons and workshops of all sorts.

You can rent it per hour, half day, day, week or month.

It fits 12 people as it is organised, but extra tables and chairs can be added to fit more.
