The Grounds makes a huge impact as soon as you step foot inside. Doubling as one of PLATF9RM's coworking locations during the week, it transforms to accommodate a vast range of events all year round. From supper clubs to panels, workshops, conferences, live performances, birthday parties, office parties and drag brunch, we've seen it all! With the help of a brilliant, committed team, a community-led ethic, commercial standard kitchen and top of the range AV system, the Grounds can turn its hand to your event vision.
The Grounds is a multifunctional events hub, café and community in Hove, showcasing the area’s vibrant, creative spirit. With its large capacity, distinctive brutalist design, kitchen & bar and world-class AV facilities, there’s not a lot it can’t do. We’ve hosted supper clubs, yard sales, comedy and live music gigs, movie nights and local produce markets. Looking to add to the list? Get involved, get imaginative and hire it yourself.
Available for hire per hour, or with a £200 deposit and minimum spend of £1000.
With a capacity of 120 standing and amenities including: auditorium-style seating, a full HD Panasonic laser projector, projector screen (3.3m x 1.7m), a 14 channel mic/line mixer, professional front/stage lighting with dimmer options throughout space as well as a well-stocked cafe, bar and commercial-standard kitchen.
