If you could condense the spirit of a town into one building, Artist Residence Brighton would be it. Creative, bohemian and downright eccentric, this unique townhouse at the head of Regency Square makes for a decidedly different venue for your event.

With three event spaces as well as comfy bedrooms we can cater for events big and small, whether you’re hosting a lavish feast, board meeting, or pulling out all the stops for a house party.

With neon lights, exposed brick, industrial sliding doors and comfy sofa and armchairs, our No.33 space is perfect for standing drinks parties of up to 50 guests.

Guests can enjoy sea views over Regency Square and you’ll have your very own private bar and bartender to keep the cocktails flowing ‘til late.

my fav place to stay/hang out in Brighton. boutique hotel with art-filled eclectic rooms, some with sea views. the staff are fantastic and so welcoming - Maddie (one of the managers) and Chloe-Louise looked after me this time. I look forward to my next stay!

This is a terrific hotel in the centre of Brighton and well worth a stay if you want a comfy room on the higher end of the spectrum. We stayed in one of the Comfy double rooms, which are spacious, comfortable and, on request, certain versions are dog friendly (though please be conscious that you must be present in the room if your dog is in there!) Rooms were comfy, bed is huge and the bathroom is quirky and fun, being a kind of log cabin like attachment to the room with a lovely interior and excellent Bramley products. Mini bar is very well stocked with delicious products. There is a fan in the room to keep it cool and bed is very warm if not (so it works for both summer and winter stays) Our one small criticism of our entire stay was that the bathroom shower / sink was not quite clean on our arrival. The location is fantastic. Right on Regency Square, a short walk to anything (i.e 2 mins to the seafront, 15 minutes to the Lanes, 20 minutes from the train station). It is quiet at night but near enough to the nightlife areas that it's easy to have best of both worlds On-site facilities are good. The breakfast/dining area is cozy, with delicious food. Breakfasts were very tasty and coffee/turmeric and matcha lattes all delicious. The cocktail offerings are also brilliant. There's a cozy separate lounge area which is excellent for reading, working, or relaxing with a drink. Top notch sound tracks for all time we were in there. Breakfast is open to the public so booking table is advised but it was never full so we were always able to get a table. Staff were all fantastic friendly and helpful. They were all terrific, particularly Magdalena and Chloe-Louise who were super helpful with recommendations of the best places to eat and things to do! Thanks a ton for making our stay so great. Dog Friendly if you let them know up front and choose the right room type (call to confirm whether dog friendly rooms available) A dog bed was provided and the staff absolutely adored our dog (small 10kg Shiba Inu) and provided ample treats and fuss! The whole of Brighton is exceptionally dog friendly on the whole and there's plenty of dining/activity options that include four legged friends
