February 2025Excellent hotel experience. Staff are brilliant and go above and beyond where they can. Immaculate, spacious and nice extra touches. Premium The White Company toiletries in your room which were amazing. 24/7 room service (reduced menu out of hours) which was really good. Lots of comfortable seating areas in the hotel foyer. Parking - make sure you navigate to "The Lanes Car Park Black Lion Street", then park on floor 4 or 2 as there are lifts on these floors that take you straight to the hotel reception. Some tight turns to go down/up levels but usually spaces available on lower levels. Parking was reasonably priced for the convenience. You can get a reduced rate if you purchase it through reception when you leave. Price can depend on what time you arrive and leave.

December 2024We selected this hotel based on reviews and location to the pier and seafront. We selected a family room which had two double/queen size beds in it. Very comfortable. The hotel is great. Lovely foyer and swimming pool area including a stream room and sauna and gym. The whole family which included two girls aged 10 & 14 give this hotel 5 stars. Service was friendly and relaxed. We would wholly recommend.

February 2025We had a wonderful stay. The room and the view were absolutely beautiful and we would come back here anytime. However: The only letdown was the breakfast. Breakfast was poor and the guy who made the pancakes gave us attitude. Next time we stay here, we definitely go somewhere else to have our breakfast. Otherwise very nice hotel, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms but Spa area really tiny. Thank you and see you another time 🫶

January 2025Very nice hotel, lovely location, on the seafront, next to the lanes, not too far from the shops so very ideal. Security late at night checking who was coming in which I thought was reassuring. Lifts are very speedy! Odd that the window in our room looked out onto the inside of the hotel but wasn't too bothered by this, better than a view of a building site or a car park. Had their breakfast which was lovely, very tasty and make sure you have the smoothies hidden behind the orange juice, they were lush. Not enough tables available for all the guests which was not ideal and should be more staff on check out when the online checkout does not work. But overall a great hotel that I would visit again.

March 2025Great location and very quiet and clean room. However, we were unaware that our room didn’t have a outward facing window (we were overlooking the inside courtyard) so the room get extremely hot very quickly and couldn’t get any fresh air into the room. Our air con wasn’t working so we couldn’t cool the room down. We booked on booking.com and the inward facing window wasn’t stated anywhere in the booking information which is very upsetting.
