As one of Dorset's hidden treasures, The Orangery Suite is an attractive and unique venue for intimate and personal wedding ceremonies and receptions. With exclusive use of the beautifully landscaped walled garden, The Orangery is an idyllic setting for a couple's special day.The recently refurbished room can seat 75 people for the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests can make their way out onto the terrace for a drinks reception whilst the newly married couple have photographs taken in the elegant grounds.The Orangery Suite can accommodate 60 people for the reception meal or up to 85 in our stunning marquee on the lawn.Whilst background music is welcome, the tranquil location means that discos are not suitable for The Orangery Suite. However, there is another venue just a short walk away, or others within a few minutes drive that will accommodate your evening function.
The Orangery is in a quiet and secluded countryside location, just a mile from Wimborne in Dorset, and is easily accessible from all parts of Dorset and Hampshire.The historic setting and spacious grounds make The Orangery Suite the perfect venue for a relaxed and stylish day to remember.

July 2024The Orangery Suite was just perfect for our Golden Wedding party. The staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful but were not intrusive. The venue is second to none. We had 85 people including 12 children. There is so much for the children to do and explore that they had a fab day as well. The grounds are delightful with lovely planting and nooks and corners for photos. I’d recommend this venue and the staff to anyone looking for the perfect spot for a special celebration

August 2024We had an August wedding at The Orangery Suite and this stunning venue really made the day for both us and the guests! The only reason I am marking it down one star is because the accessible toilet facilities could be greatly improved. They were unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair access, which myself and a number of our guests required. However, the team were very accommodating and hired a suitable facility for our day, at no additional cost. In the run up to the wedding, Becky and Louise couldn’t have been more helpful! They were always quick to respond to emails and answer any questions we had – And this continued throughout our wedding day, when they were on hand for anything we needed (we joked that they were our groomsmen, maid of honour and emcee rolled into one!). And then there’s the venue itself... Wow! It’s a beautifully romantic setting, with garden games to keep people entertained (which our guests loved!), little nooks and crannies to explore and a fantastic backdrop for photographs. If you’re after a relaxed, peaceful, friendly and fun venue, this is it! I know that our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same anywhere else.
