Park Regis, Dunlop

Considering I chose the hotel as it offers parking and I booked 3 rooms I was a little put out yo have to pay £24 to park. Rooms were reasonable and clean. However fairly small for the price. Well appointed with tea and coffee. Bath sheet was not provided in the room and the bedside lamp was not working. Staff were very good. And the breakfast was very good. Felt the menu for evening meal was a little limited. Had the mutton curry. Spiced nicely but the meat could have been more tender. Wasn't warned that there would be bones in the meal. Unlikely to book there again

Awful afternoon tea for Mother’s Day. The food was tiny and they looked absolutely NOTHING like the photos they advertise !!!! Not as described at all, the tuna was missing the pickled cucumber , the brownie was completely plain with a quarter of a strawberry on top completely unlike the photo and tasted horrid. There was no cream cheese in the sandwich it was just a tomato paste on stale bread, the filo pastry was chewy. The ‘tropical fruit punch’ was a dirty shot glass of orange juice. To add, when I first booked the afternoon tea I didn’t have to pay a deposit but a week or so later received an email to pay one, I hadn’t paid within 2 hours due to not seeing the email whilst being at work and they cancelled my reservation so I had to call and rebook - wish I hadn’t now, just awful, avoid.
