Named after West Indies legend Brian Lara’s record-breaking unbeaten 501 for Warwickshire in 1994, the new 501* brings a new sophisticated, stylish and modern appeal to the facilities at Edgbaston.
The innovative design of the room encapsulates Lara’s achievement with a tiled wall providing a ball-by-ball account of the innings and a plaque to greet you upon entering, dedicated to the events at Edgbaston on 6 June, 1994.

The atmosphere was great during the world championship of legends game. We arrived early and luckily found parking at cannon hill park opposite the stadium £5 for the whole day. Made our way inside Eric Hollies stand good seats with plenty of leg room excellent view of the pitch. Brilliant venue for Cricket. All staff members were very friendly and helping. The food and drink options are overpriced portions sizes are small for what you are paying. It was a fantastic day out a very enjoyable experience

Watched the recent test match against the West Indies. Excellent atmosphere and good facilities. Food and drink is pricy but good quality. I guess prices are typical of venues nowadays. Ticket price was high but you do get a full days entertainment so better value than say a premiership football match.

Very nice stadium. Quite modern in most places, much more so than say Trent Bridge (which has it's own charms) Food selection was good. Most importantly the pitch is great (and has a quite short boundary) so very close to the action in most seats

It was hard to find parking near the stadium and took a good whole 30 minutes to get parking and walking to the stadium. It was our first time visiting it so we didn't know any place where we could park. But everything else went smoothly from getting inside to enjoy the match and get back.

This is a great place to watch cricket. Fabulous atmosphere, plenty of food and drink options available and great staff/stewards. It's a very family friendly venue too as there is a family stand (no alcohol allowed) and tickets are very reasonably priced.
