Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre is part of the University of Birmingham Group. The bright, contemporary hotel and conference centre are framed by two charming, historic buildings. Garth House is Grade II-listed, and has been beautifully restored in period style as a luxury hotel. Hornton Grange, built in 1928, has been transformed into a boutique hotel with bespoke décor that compliments the character and history of the building.
Together, they offer a wide variety of luxury rooms, bespoke dining options and special event spaces. For conferences, the spacious meeting rooms in the conference centre provide flexible, well-equipped venues for groups of all sizes.

November 2024I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Edgbaston Hotel and Conference Centre, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure every guest felt comfortable and well looked after. From the moment I arrived, it was evident how much care and pride goes into maintaining the centre—everything was spotlessly clean and immaculately organised. My room was not only spacious and well-designed, but also prepared with such attention to detail that it felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was sumptuously served. What stood out to me the most, however, was the diverse and welcoming team. As someone from a Commonwealth country, it was both heart-warming and inspiring to see staff from so many Commonwealth backgrounds. It felt like a true representation of our global community, and I felt a genuine connection with them. It made my stay all the more memorable to see people I consider my brothers and sisters excelling and representing us so positively. Overall, I would highly recommend the Edgbaston Hotel and Conference Centre to anyone looking for an exceptional stay. Thank you to the team for such a warm and memorable experience!

January 2025This was our second time staying at the Edgbaston and once again I have to give it 5 stars. Very clean and friendly staff especially Rhonda on reception. We had dinner in the bar as the restaurant was closed over the Christmas period and I would 💯 recommend the beef and ale pie. Hope to be back soon

December 2024Festive Brunch with Santa! We recently took part in the above event at the Hotel and we were incredibly impressed with the organisation, food and service! The buffet was varied, high quality and the food just KEPT ON COMING. All staff were friendly and approachable and nothing was too much. Special shout out to Tory and Claire who were fantastic all round! Keeping our fingers crossed for the same things next year!!

October 2024Great hotel for a work trip! I stayed here for two nights while visiting the university, and it was very comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional, and the breakfast was satisfying. My only issue was that the bedding could have been cleaner.

January 2025Stayed here for a friends wedding recently, everything was lovely and breakfast was great and good value! Have given 3 stars as we booked a deluxe room at a higher cost and the bed was VERY small. So we weren’t hugely impressed with paying £170 a night for a small double for two adults to sleep in. Other than this everything was clean and to a very nice standard, would stay again if needed but would check about bedsize before paying.
