Pleasant stay. All the facilities I wanted were available which was great. Free use of the gym just across the road. Fresh bakes at reception which was tasty. I wasn't looking for anything extravagant and the hotel provided what I needed during my stay close to the city centre.

Was made very welcome by Mel who was on reception and checked us in our room. Stayed at the hotel for 1 night over the weekend. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Bathroom was nice with a powerful shower, even could have a bath if you wanted too. The bed was very comfortable. The car park we paid for the morning of before traveling down as it was much easier. The hitel will send you the link to pay for it which is under £8 per calender day, so for overnight stay we paid twice. I have read on reviews that the parking is hard to find, but on google maps directed me straight to the car park itself, so personally no problems. Only 10-15 walk to the bullring. Definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed 3 days here for work purposes and I have to say it's a great hotel, staff are super friendly, best night sleep I've ever had working away from home. The rooms are clean and stylish not what I expected considering how cheap it was. The single bed is a 3/4 so it was bigger than your standard single bed. I would recommend this hotel to anybody

Booked the hotel as I was on a training course in Birmingham, and I was looking for something cost effective with reasonable standards. On arrival you are met with a modern reception, business hub and vibrant restaurant. However, when you go to the accommodation floors, things change dramatically. Badly painted dark corridors lead you to your room. You then go into the room to discover a smelly shoe box bathroom, a bed that breaks your back (that’s if it doesn’t collapse first) and windows that are hard to open & close. I am not sure they are value for money, because I’ve slept in better pub rooms for half the price.

Really not impressed, the only nice thing I can say was that the bathroom was rather spacious. However, myself and my colleague were freezing in our room. When we were checking out, a member of staff asked how our stay was- when we said that our room was very cold, her response was to simply say, “that’s okay”, seeming to completely disregard and ignore our complaint- we did not feel listened to whatsoever.
