We hosted our wedding reception with an afternoon tea, and it was fantastic from start to finish! The team went above and beyond to make our day special, and we’re so appreciative of everything they did for us. A special thanks to Sarah from the events team—she was brilliant! Communication was seamless, and any issues we had were promptly addressed. The rooms were fantastic, and breakfast was equally excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

I booked afternoon tea for 3 generations for my family along with friends so we were 7 from age 10 to 90! I really wanted to have a special festive afternoon tea and it did not disappoint. The hotel refurb is very nicely done and all the rooms including the reception, bar and tea room are great. The service was excellent (special thanks to Harry and the team) and the food great. Everyone thought the food and pastries were very tasty. I would recommend it and will be back, maybe for drinks and dinner next time as the ambience is so lovely. Thank you

Absolutely appalling spa facilities and service. In full - Myself and my partner booked a spa half day (£200), and despite us calling and emailing in the days before, no one informed us before we arrived that the pool was closed. Again no one or indeed the website mentioned that the spa was in a state of disrepair, and quite frankly not safe for guests. The attached photos show the state of the jacuzzi and rest of the of leisure area. As you can see it is absolutely appalling and looks as though it has been put together by cowboy builders. I am extremely surprised that the hotel was even allowed to let guests into the jacuzzi in its current state. The sauna as well felt incredibly flimsy, with bits of wood not even screwed or nailed down. The changing rooms had no furniture in them whatsoever, meaning that there were no benches or hooks to hang clothes on or even get changed. Maintenance men would come and do tests on the pool whilst we were there, which hardly leads to a relaxing environment. Upon obviously requesting a full refund, the hotel manager refused, only offering us a £60 discount. Utterly horrific spa and service. Do not be fooled by their photos or website.
