February 2025Had a great stay at the hotel, rooms were clean and well maintained. Convenient enough to walk to the city, although it's not exactly close. Special mention to the reception staff (shout-out to Marco) who were extremely helpful during our stay, and even more so after, when we forgot something in our room, and they were able to arrange for it to be shipped to us the next day. Would recommend, and would definitely visit again when in Bath.

March 2025Beautiful boutique hotel in a great quiet location. The best part of the hotel is the staff! Christina and her staff were amazing. They did some last minute accommodations for us that I’m very thankful for. Honestly, this staff is the nicest staff I’ve ever dealt with. Kudos to the Villa Magdala for having the best staff!🙂

March 2025A lovely place to stay, the staff had a real emphasis on service. They were polite and helpful from when we arrived and couldn't of done much more to help. Our room was the suite downstairs and was fantastically clean and light, with its own lounge it's a real treat.

February 2025Beautiful place to stay. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Close to city centre just a short walk. We came with our dog and she loved it. The dog bed, bowls and surprise box was a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious definitely recommend staying here. We were upgraded on the second night both rooms were spectacular. Will stay here again when next visiting Bath.

February 2025Wrapping up a two night stay here. Pretty disappointed, considering what we paid. The towel warmer in the bathroom cannot be turned off, even by the staff. It is hot enough to burn skin if you touch it for more than a second. The toilet does not clear when flushed. Awkward. The staff was very courteous when informed, but ultimately did next to nothing to help us with these issues. Finally, the bed has no fitted sheet, which is just weird. I strongly suggest booking elsewhere.
