Wonderful hotel within an easy walk to the city centre. The reception is beautiful and always staffed. The rooms were immaculate and had all the amenities you would expect and a few little extra. We found the beds to be really comfortable. The bar was small and quirky but stocked well and there was further seating areas around. The breakfast service was lovely with freshly cooked full English upon request as well as a small continental stand. Would recommend especially for easy walk to city centre

Beautiful place. Spa experience was top notch! Nice pool and area for steam rooms etc. grounds are lovely and a lot of history included in the place. Only criticism was dinner. Service was extremely slow (1.5hours for our main course) which took the shine of the place. Also lunch was also slow, for two sandwiches it took 30 minutes to arrive. The food when it did arrive was beautifully made and presented. If they just upped their game in service, it would be the full 5 star experience.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Bath Spa Hotel, and overall, it was a great experience. The steam room, sauna, and ice bath facilities were truly amazing, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere. While the hotel itself was lovely and the staff were attentive, our dinner experience left something to be desired. We decided to dine at the hotel, but unfortunately, the meal was a bit disappointing. The bill totaled £120, but we didn’t feel satisfied, as the portion sizes were quite small and not enough for an average person. Additionally, we were surprised to find that we had to purchase toothpaste and a toothbrush for £5, which should typically be complimentary at a spa hotel. In summary, while the spa facilities are exceptional, I would recommend exploring dining options outside the hotel for a more satisfying meal.

This hotel is in one word - disappointing. They will charge you 5 star prices and deliver 2 star service, the staff are kind and hard working but un trained and inexperienced. It is that bad that it will spoil your trip, many of the guests spoke about the feeling being over charged for a sub par experience. On checkout I was waiting for them to ask how my stay was, they never did so when I volunteered how disappointed I was, I just got a blank look and a confused Sorry. Be careful spending your money here when there are amazing hotels and experiences in Bath.

Lovely hotel and great amenities. Romantic and food is good. Great location. 15 mins walk to city centre. Unfortunately, staff at reception refused to talk to me and passed me onto an equally curt younger receptionist. Talked to you with chin raised and her nose up high. Not to mention chewing gum while talking to you. Same as the waiter. Not just on one occasion, but several. At more than 200£ a night, not worth your peace of mind. Might as well go somewhere else where staff are pleasant. Not the most child friendly nor inclusive place to stay, unfortunately. With how the staff carry themselves, seems like hospitality shot himself in the foot.
