Located a stone’s throw from Farringdon Station and bordering trendy Exmouth Market, The Postal Museum has opened its doors to the abandoned and forgotten Mail Rail. The space has a capacity of up to 275 people and hire will provide guests with an immersive ride through the original railway tunnels as part of the experience.
The impressive industrial, blank canvas space is available for a range of events from product launches to live gigs.
Additional areas are available for hire within the Postal Museum itself. With a capacity for 80, this space is perfect for intimate receptions and networking events. The contemporary museum space comes with the added benefit of a private courtyard and the opportunity to include a curator-led museum tour as part of the guests’ experience.

August 2024Incredible museum. The mail rail was fantastic and it was so well done. The museum is small but really interactive. Ended up spending over 4 hours here between all the activities and the Sorted! Kids area (definitely book before!)

September 2024Arrived by No 17 bus to Grays Inn Rd and a short walk to the Museum, just a little way from the Mail Rail experience which is at a slightly different location. The Ticket allows unlimited time entry into the museum for a full 12 months and a one off timed slot to the rail experience. The museum is stuffed full of modern and vintage artifacts from the history of the Royal Mail service. There is also a small shop and cafe in the entrance area with inside and outdoor seating. Send time before or after the rail trip, the museum has a lot of information on show.

July 2024The Postal Museum has been on my list for some time now and finally the day has come. Such a delightful experience! From beginning to end, every moment was thoroughly enjoyable. It was an educational journey in an engaging and entertaining manner. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. We loved the activity book. Super cute. Coffee shop offers everything you need for a little break. Gift shop has a great variety of toys and gifts. I would highly recommend to visit.

August 2024One of the most educational visits I have been on in London. Great for the kids and a fantastic story into the Royal mail past. From the very start to the closing down a few years ago. Staff so helpful and informative; they look like they enjoy their jobs.The museum is very well laid out with plenty of activities for children big and small to participate in all inclusive of the price. Make this a must thing Todo on your next visit to London
