Imperial War Museum London, Roof Terrace

Incredible record of WWI, WWII and the Holocaust with additional and surprising artifacts such as the bean from the Arizona from Pearl Harbour, aom steel from th North tower of the World Trade Center and a cars remains from a suicide bomb from Iraq. The ground floor showcases some vehicles but mainly covers WWI. The most chilling and draw dropping part here is the trench weapons. It's insane to think of people bashing each other with these. The 1st floor is WWI and the most memorable part here is the lead up to fascism. The museum presents Germany, Italy and Japan really well and you get a good understanding of the gradual fall towards total chaos. The next floor covers the Holocaust gallery and I was shaken after this. But I only managed to spend over two hours here, I will be back again to spend at least 4 hours to read all the information provided. An amazing museum that should be a must see for all visitors to London.

Visited on a weekday, so the museum was quiet with plenty of space and time to read placards in peace. Most displays incorporated child-friendly items to explore, which several school students visiting at the same time took on. Really worth the visit.

Plan to spend more time than planned. My family visited and we were amazed at the up to date exhibits. The exhibits were extremely informative filled with objects from the past and working technology. We could have easily spent additional hours here.
