Invitation to a wedding party 16th November2024 brought me here. What a fantastic hotel. Everything was perfect, not just the party iself but the impecable service and atentiveness from the staff throughout the whole day & evening. Excellent rooms and fantastic beds,so comfortable. They think of everything here even a kettle, iron & ironing board. Plus a coffee pod machine. The place is so clean and well maintained. Canapes were served at varying times and with an imaginative selection. Then lunch which was excellent and served with great efficiency so everybody could eat at the same time. The staff helped make it a memorable experience.

I recently visited this hotel And I was very impressed with the quality of the decor and the rooms - Everywhere is immaculately clean and the staff are absolutely delightful! During my visit I attended a private festive dining event and the room layout and table dressing were absolutely delightful. The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and delightfully presented. Simon and his team, especially Toni, could not have been more attentive or helpful. Every consideration is given to guest comfort and enjoyment! Highly recommend this delightful boutique hotel! You will not be disappointed⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very clean, well presented place. The lighting was nice and the lounge area was decent, however... One of our booked rooms dubbed a 'suite' was just a small square room on the lower floor, a single flight of stairs leading to a double bed with a bath plonked at the end. Not good value for money and very underwhelming. When arriving it was a "pay in full'' policy and no concierge service. We had to lug our case up three flights of stairs to get to (what was conveyed the best room) 'Opus loft suite' which was just nice and clean. The bar area was quite basic, no draft beers on tap and drinks were overpriced for the location. E.g. a small bottle of wine from the mini bar was £15. We were too a little disappointed that we had to venture out as there was no restaurant for dining as such, it was an on your lap job in the lounge area or take it to your room which was unusual. Our breakfast wasn't great either, not much taste, nothing seamed fresh or locally sourced. My fiancés crumpet's were like drinks coasters and the sausage was also lacking in taste. Even though this is lovely looking house along with good décor and atmosphere I felt let down at almost every avenue.

Called to get some information about wedding packages as we just want a small short wedding. But the lady on the phone was so rude and abrupt. Not a good experience and would not recommend. It's okay to be flexible or to be polite when you have to explain that you only do certain packages. I was only calling for information.
