LOCK Studios, a dynamic venue under the LOCK Group umbrella, spans an expansive 12,000 square feet spread across two unique buildings, all within a leisurely minute’s walk from each other, the venue ensures a fluid and interconnected setting for your event.

We boast 6 distinct studios, with Studio 1, 2 and 3 exclusively dedicated to events. Within these spaces, we've revitalized the studio setting to provide an exceptional canvas, intimate dinners, networking mixers, boutique product launches, art exhibitions, workshops or seminars, and more.

The polished concrete floors lay the foundation for a sophisticated setting, complemented by concrete walls that exude an edgy yet refined vibe. Flooded with natural light through canal-fronted windows, LOCK Studios effortlessly merges indoor and outdoor beauty.

Studio 1 + 2 The 2,600 square feet space boasts 4-metre-high ceilings and is flooded with natural light through canal-fronted windows, effortlessly merges indoor and outdoor beauty.

The space offers two distinctive entrance options, complete with a double door leading into Studio 1. Walk right in through the private street-level entrance via Studio 2 for a seamless arrival. Alternatively, experience a unique entrance adjacent to Studio 2, featuring a dedicated counter space - the ideal setup for a perfect bar area.

This multi-functional space features polished concrete floors lay the foundation for a sophisticated setting, complemented by concrete walls that exude an edgy yet refined vibe.

With each hire, Studio 3 is included, providing 1,000 square feet of versatile space ideal for use as a back-of-house area, cloakroom, green room, or a transformative kitchen space, especially since the venue itself does not include kitchen facilities.

Cancellation policy

In the unfortunate circumstances that the Hirer has to cancel or postpone the Venue Hire, the following charges will be due. In each the percentage applies to the total Venue Hire Fee. - 25% for cancellations between 34 and 16 weeks prior to the Event date. - 50% for cancellations between 16 weeks and 30 days prior to the Event date. - 100% for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the Event date.

Other rules

Security Guard Requirement: The Studio, situated in a residential area, mandates the inclusion of essential items in addition to the hire fee. A Security Guard is imperative for the live event's commencement. The security guard must be on-site at least 1 hour before the event starts. The Venue Manager at Lock Studios will provide crucial information to the security guard regarding emergency exits, rules and regulations. The security guard is required to stay until the de-rigging process is completed. Live Bands and DJs Approval: Live bands and DJs are permitted to perform music within the Venue, subject to specific conditions. Lock Studio Ltd requires prior written approval for the engagement of these entertainers. Such approval must be obtained at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled event. Noise Restrictions: Strict noise restrictions are in place, with a specific decibel level of 65DB associated with the venue. It is imperative to acknowledge the venue's proximity to residential areas. Adherence to these noise restrictions is mandatory for all events hosted at the Studio.
