The interactive Museum Galleries can be hired before public opening for naturally lit breakfasts under the Victorian glass roof, and after hours for memorable evening events. Guests enter through the immersive World City Walkway and then have exclusive access to two floors of London’s rich transport history. Highlights include an iconic collection of red Routemaster buses, early Tube carriages and an Elizabeth Line driving experience. The quintessential backdrop is complimented by integrated branding opportunities and bespoke menus delivered by some of London’s finest caterers, carefully selected due to their excellence. The Galleries can accommodate up to 230 guests for a seated dinner, 600 guests for standing receptions and 200 guests for seated presentations.
The Cubic Theatre is a purpose-built auditorium featuring 110 distinctive moquette seats, perfect for conferences, training sessions and film screenings. A high-spec short throw projector ensures slick presentations, whilst a DCI/DCP projector and Dolby Digital surround sound offers a full cinema experience. The adjoining Foyer can be used for registration, catering and breakouts with great branding opportunities. All guests are welcomed to visit the Galleries, making for inspiring break times.

February 2025Took our Grandson who loved all the interactive facilities, such as busses, traffic lights and poster art creation class. The layout is very thoughtful and I loved the little model tube and middle trolley bus. Lots to do, only downside I had to drag my grandson away!

February 2025Great place for adults and children. Loads of interactive activities for children to keep them interested and entertained. Staff were very informative. A fun stamp collection to do as you go around. Great place to spend a few hours.

March 2025Me and my friend had an incredible experience visiting this museum as train enthusiasts, delving deep into the history of the UK's transport! The entrance shows a combined map of worldwide metro systems from cities such as Tokyo and New York leading into each other seamlessly; we had booked an annual pass to enter in advance as this place is very busy. Horse drawn trams are among the exhibits even with a miniature model and the story is told of how electric trams were a replacement, shown in full size themselves here. The old carriages and steam trains originally used on the London Underground are displayed, allowing to sit on the carriage seats and one has models of passengers among us! Other old units from London are great and posters are interesting to see how the tube was advertised, TFL employee gear has been kept too. Classic city buses are lovely and a couple allow to be walked on next to the back entrances, passengers again somehow appear! Army vehicles are a unique addition and transport during WW2 is touched upon, the moving model railway is fantastic as well.

March 2025Had an amazing experience here. Once you buy a ticket, you are able to use it for 1 full year. This is a great experience and had a lot of history that I thought was really cool. It was also a great place to take pictures or even bring family/kids. Also again you can use the ticket up to a whole year so if you went to the local market nearby And needed to use the bathroom you can go back to the museum lol 🚂🚎

February 2025Despite being packed during half-term, we had an enjoyable time. Signposting is probably not the best but kids can find their way around. It’s fairly interactive and there are plenty to explore. We spent half of our time in a designed playground ha ha all kids absolutely loved dressing up and driving different types of transport.
