My friend and I booked a spa day for a Wednesday and this was really lovely as it was quiet (we were actually the only people in the spa at the time!) We were welcomed at the reception desk and everything was explained really well by Laura. We had a little tour and got changed in the lovely changing rooms. The pool is a plunge pool, was perfect temperature (warm!) and has jets. The treatments were stunning (thank you Amy & Laura!) After treatments, we got changed and had our afternoon tea, which was served a little slow despite the restaurant not being so busy, but it was very tasty when it did arrive. I have already recommended this spa to lots of people and will definitely be returning!

Fantastic mid-week lunch of Fish&Chips; I don’t normally eat mushy peas but my plate was left scrappingly clean! And I don’t normally give top marks but the fish was ‘melt in the mouth’ perfect and really 10/10! Very pleasant and attentive staff. I also appreciated the fact that our area in the restaurant was not over crammed with tables (as some popular restaurants can be). Cutlery 8/10. Feb’25.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, feels incredibly warm and cozy and the overall atmosphere is just stunning. We loved the food, especially the lamb! Breakfast offer was wide ranged and delicious too. Everything was served fast by the attentive staff. The hotel spa, which is also beautifully decorated, has really friendly staff. The saunas lacked a bit of heat but the experience was really relaxing. Overall we had an amazing time and really recommend visiting this beautiful hotel !

We went to the Cooden for a Sunday afternoon dinner. We hadn't booked but we were easily accommodated. The staff were very polite and informative in regards to the menu. The dining area was well laid out and welcoming. There was a great view of the sea from our table. Some of us were going to have the Sunday roast but unfortunately they had run out of beef and chicken as well as cod and chips. Most of us went for the burger which was well presented and tasted pretty good. The venison and bacon pie was also pretty good. I would say the pricing is about right. It's worth a visit for a meal in a nice setting with a good view.

My partner and I had a massage not to long ago. And in the forms I put down for a light massage but instead the massage therapist give me a deep tissue which was way to uncomfortable due to my slipped disc. I did not have a pleasant experience. But the massage therapist emi was lovely so polite and did an astonishing job on my partner. Wish I could say the same for me but unfortunately did not enjoy my massage was way to rough for me. But lovely view and great location of the spa. But overall everyone was polite and very welcoming
